Steffen is a Managing Director in FCF's corporate finance team.

He studied in Mannheim (D), London (GB) and Ann Arbor (USA) and holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School and is Dipl.-Betriebswirt (BA) from Berufsakademie Mannheim.

Prior to joining FCF, Steffen worked for over 9 years in Citigroup's investment banking division in Frankfurt and London.He focussed on small and midcap clients, in particular in the technology and healthcare space. He participated in the execution of M&A and equity transactions. During his time with Citigroup, Steffen executed the IPO of Qimonda, SFC Smart Fuel Cells, Openshop AG and Mediclin AG.

He also executed various M&A transactions for Carlyle, Heraeus, Infineon, Linde, Mobilcom, MVV Energie, NewLogic, Nokia, NorskHydro, Qimonda, TerraFirma and ThyssenKrupp. He also executed debt and equity linked transactions for Infineon, Qimonda, Siemens, Treofan and VAC Vacuumschmelze. Prior to his MBA Steffen worked for 5 years with Dresdner Bank.
